He brings more than 25 years of investment management, Impact, and leadership experience to the industry and his individual accomplishments include building and leading several wealth management organizations in California.
Md. Monir Hossain Chowdhury, Executive Director of Environmental Research and Development Alternatives (ERDA)
Monir has over 25 years of experience in disaster preparedness, response, rehabilitation, and planning, with a focus on plans and strategies related to biodiversity conservation and climate change adaptation and mitigation. He has held management positions with the Government of Bangladesh and INGOs.
Each of these managerial roles was put into place and coordinated with the appropriate government agencies. Worked as an Environment and Climate Change Specialist for the National River Conservation Commission, Ministry of Shipping, Government of Bangladesh, since 2018. Experienced of effectively leading and coordinating with government agencies and partner organizations while overseeing both domestic and foreign teams
Jyoti Jankowski, Strategy & Operations Lead at Save Soil
Jyoti manages efforts in North America for Save Soil, including developing
partnerships with organizations, overseeing initiatives to bring awareness to soil health with mainstream as well as influencers, and working with global
teams to create cohesive strategy. Save Soil is a global movement to initiate a
conscious approach to the soil and planet. The movement seeks to show
governments of all nations that their citizens want a policy to revitalize soil and ecology through awareness and advocacy.
Ruchi Chaudhary, Program Manager, CANSA
Ruchi Chaudhary has over 22 years of progressive and diverse experience in programme implementation and management of gender transformative programmes in global organizations. At present, she is working with Climate Action Network South Asia as Program Manager and closely following the discussions on adaptation and Just energy transition. Her key expertise is in the area of gender and child rights and within CANSA she brings in this perspective and enhances youth voices in climate action work.
Dr. Golam Rabbani, Director, Climate Bridge Fund Secretariat, BRAC
Dr. Rabbani is a seasoned climate change specialist with about 20 years experience in strategy development, program management, project development, climate change adaption / mitigation, formulation / evaluation of adaption projects conceptualizing and developing knowledge products at the local, national, regional, and international level. His domain expertise is in climate risk assessment, adaption policy and institutional analysis, climate financing mechanism, climate change negotiation, and coordination with donors and development partners. Prior to joining BRAC, Rabbani worked in Bangladesh Centere for Advanced Studies (BCAS) as a Fellow.
Carter Henne, President of Sea & Shoreline LLC, a member of the Blue Community Consoritum.
Carter has worked in both the public and private sectors to create healthy aquatic environments that support the unique species that depend on these critical habitats. In 2014, he co-founded Sea & Shoreline LLC, where he has since served as President. He sits on the Seagrass Technology and Restoration Innovation Task Force, a delegate reviewer for the Ocean Exchange, and serves on the management board of the Indian River Lagoon National Estuary Council. His expertise lies in seagrass aquaculture, aquatic habitat restoration, nature based solutions, marine contracting, and coastal resiliency. He has extensive experience transforming algae-based aquatic ecosystems into healthy, plant-based ecosystems.
His mission of implementing sustainable, nature-based solutions is balanced with meeting stakeholder needs to foster community involvement. His approach to aquatic restoration has earned him accolades and esteem in the scientific community for his innovative methods and organizational leadership. Under Carter’s leadership, Sea & Shoreline implements novel transformational restoration projects.
